Maha Gaia Yoga: Touch the Earth

A disciple asked the Buddha: “How do I know you are enlightened?” Buddha put his hands to the earth and replied: “Mother is my witness” We will work with this teaching to initiate awareness that to be Light in matter we must create a conscious interdependent connection with our bodies, hearts and minds as not separate from Mama Gaia and the composition of matter: fire, water, earth, air and ether.

Maha Gaia Yoga: Praise unto the Day

It is said in many esoteric and earth based traditions that the fastest path towards living a joyful life is to praise all that arises as opportunity. In this morning practice we will develop an attitude of gratitude for all that arises through asana, Mayan and Navajo sun salutations, breath, and intention. Each individual will discover their unique practices to develop praise unto the day.

ABOUT TARA KHANDRO: Maha Gaia Yoga is sourced through Tara Khandro, a thirty year yoga practitioner, dancer, shamanic adept, conscious channel, spiritual teacher, integrative healer, and consultant with people of all faiths and backgrounds. She is also the originator of Alchemy of Wonder, an integrative consciousness healing modality guiding violent trauma survivors to embrace their experiences as catalysts for soul’s awakening.
