Ayurveda Therapist Course
Theory credits - 15 hours - 1.5 credits
Practical credits - 20 hours - 2 credits
Field works - 30 hours - 3 credits
Exams - 1 credit (3hrs x 2 times = 6hrs + 4 hrs practical)
Assignments - 1.5 credits
Total credits - 9 credits

- Vaman (vomiting therapy)- theory and practical
- Virechan (purgation therapy)- theory
- Nasya (nasal instilling) – theory and practical
- Basti(enema therapy) – theory and practical
- Raktamokshana(blood letting) – theory and practical
- Introduction of laboratory tests on different diseases
- Different types of Abhyanga (ayurvedic massage) – theory and practical
- Janu vasti. (Knee massage) – theory and practical
- Kati vasti. (lower back massage) - theory and practical
- Greeva vasti (cervical massage) - theory & practical
- Tarpana.(Eye washing and cleaning) - theory & practical
- Introduction of the equipments needed to open a spa
- Introduction of the medicines needed for the therapy
Note: Before certification at this level, students must complete a minimum Anatomy and Physiology and Ayurveda foundation course.
