The organisation is actively involved in the community organisation in one of the biggest slums in Trivandrum, Karimadom Colony. It is situated about 500m from Don Bosco Veedu. There are about 800 families living in cramped living conditions with no proper roofing. Nearly 55% of the population are Hindus, 40% Muslims, 3% Christians and 2% other religions. A high percentage of children drop out from school before they complete high school. Some of these children are extremely poor and of single parents. The organisation helps over 250 children for their education, and about 50 children are selected for sponsorship programmes.
